Booking

Dog walking and in home visits need to have one week notice. Overnights and boarding need three week notice. The earlier you book, the better. My schedule can be booked up quickly, especially during popular vacation seasons. Last minute cancellations are accepted on a case by case basis. I would love to help you when you are experiencing an emergency but please keep mind that I may not be able available for last minute requests. Please also keep in mind I have other clients and responsibilities and will respond to requests no later than 48 hours. However, I tend to get back right away.

Payment

Meet and greets are free. If you would like to request more than one meet and greet, the second will be charged at a rate of a thirty minute in home visit. Payment must be given after services have been rendered. New services will not be booked if you have outstanding payment. I accept cash, check (made out to Shimmermint LLC), cash app, venmo, or zelle.

Cancellation

I do not charge a cancellation fee. Clients that habitually cancel last minute may not be rebooked at my discretion.

Emergency

Unless otherwise noted in the care instructions all emergencies will be delivered to Eclipse Emergency in Whippany, NJ. You will be notified en route to the hospital. No major decisions will be made without your consent such as surgery, euthanasia or other major medical action.
